Error 500 on Password Reset and Forgot Username

Using joomla 3.3.6 and University theme v3.18
Users trying to access the Forgot your password? or the Forgot your username? options are presented with an error 500 JHTMLBEHAVIOR::FORMVALIDATOR NOT FOUND.


Using joomla 3.4.3 and University theme v 3.18 this problem does not exist, problem is we're not able to upgrade joomla version at current time.

Any insights as to why and how to fix in our live environment running j3.3.6 would be appreciated!

If You cannot update joomla, than only way is to use default joomla files. Please rename /html/com_user to /html/_com_user.
