How to change the language event-listing <time datetime>

Hi,
In the Event-listing page, in a square, you see the day of the week (and under the month and day).
In the exemple attached, you see SUN for Sunday.
Question : my site is in French, so I would like to see DIM for Dimanche (sunday in french of course).
Would someone know how to do this ?

If the module is up to date, it should setup dates basing on Joomla language.

A spent a day finding where the problem is and it was just bug in module! So if you have problem, just stay in last version. Many thanks! :-P

I found a new issue with this date variable. When i open K2 category listing, there is the same issue with date (i have complete translation, verified string 2 times). If i open K2 item from category listing, in the detail is everything is okey, but just in the category there is still stuck date format in English ...

Lests start with the bug as I dodn't quite understand - is the bug in current or older version?
