Cannot choose item for menu

Template: University for Joomla 3.x using gk_university_quickstart_J!3
1. Created menu > single article, but CAN'T choose article (would jump. to articles, but CANNOT select article for menu)
2. Same thing happens when menu is created with item...CANNOT choose item, either.

Had to work around on by choose existing article & change names....

Please advise...thank you & God bless

Hi,
you mean that Joomla back-end Menu Manager is broken?
But we didn't modified a Joomla core.

Hard to say not seeing it.
Maybe try to reinstall Joomla using: https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/re ... ackage.zip

yes, the backend...same thing happened to inStyle template...
google the issue, others seem to have the same problems from Rockettheme...but don't know how to resolve...

Downloaded the patch from link below...still can't choose article from menu.
Can only choose article on INITIAL menu setup, can't go back to modify to another article.
