Article title shown while hidden in global options

I have a strange problem:
while in joomla articles and categories I have titles de activated in global options, they still appear.
Any idea what that could cause this problem?

it might be Menu item setting, search also there.
there always must be setting for such a things.

I tried but did not work.-(
And strange is, that on same installation, but using steakhouse template global options for not showing works well
