date format in nsp5 layout

hi, I need to change the format day/month from english to italian: even if language is set as it-IT, as U can see in the link, it's formatted as Mon instead of Lun (lunedì) (groundweb.it/sdm): what's wrong?

found out: put setlocale (LC_TIME, "it_IT"); in controller.php NSP
