Display issues with Intro slide show and IE8

Greetings,
Wondering if a fix exists for this theme when viewed in IE8? The only issue is the image show on the homepage at the top of the page is not rendering correctly(shifted off to the right of the page). You can see an example by looking at the University demo site. Thanks in advance.
