University template - quick start install fails

Hi,

I have now installed from fresh Joomla 3.3.0 + update 3.3.1
Tried to install the University template Quickstart package
BUT
it fails to show up

I have done this on the internet server AND locally on my MAMP both fail

It doesn't give any error, says the file installed fine.

BUT

if you look for the template it isn't visible in Joomla although the files are in place
(see screenshots)

What is wrong and where can I troubleshoot?

I don't know why the template doesn't show up in the list.
After the install attempt I go to the discover and see that a lot aren't installed correctly
If I then install from there most is corrected but not all

Will post back if I get a solution

Hi

Quickstart package is a full joomla installation with joomla included, so You need to install it as a regular joomla installation not a joomla installer package.

I have the same problem, somebody can help me also, the template is not visible in the list.

Did you install the quickinstall the right way
DON'T install joomla first. The quickstart package contains an installed joomla with university template configured.
You just FTP all of it into your webfolder and start using it
