How to set the Twitter account in the CONNECT Social GK5 mod

Hi,
I would need your help to figure out why I still get the @GavickPro twitter messages in the Connect module, despite the fact that I've changed consumer and user keys from my twitter account.
I couldn't find any other menu to set my twitter account name.
Please advise,

Did you create an app on the Twitter development site? That is what is needed to obtain all the necessary codes / keys. You should be able to create one here https://dev.twitter.com/apps and then click the "Test OAuth" button which will generate what you need

Thanks guys, but I already did it, and copied the consumer and acess tokens to the module settings. But nothing happened, still looking for the sample @GavickPro tweets.
Strange.
The User Token and User Secret in the Module Settings equals the access token and access token secret given on twitter page?
This is the only mismatch I found.

I have the same problem. Even if I configure the module correctly it still shows the GavickPro tweets.

Hi

Looks like this can be related to cache. Please make sure cache is disabled. This script checks the settings in cache first, so it may not see that new values has been entered.

Yeah, I'm getting the same problem as everyone else too. Connect module only displays gavickpro Twitter feed. I've created my twitter app keys, quadruple checked them. Disabled and and cleared cache.

Programmers explained how it works.

When there is a query send to twitter and no results has been found (because there is no tweets or are older than 7 days) a blank element is recived. In such case module uses the last known working details.

In some cases setting Cache to 0 in module settings helps.
