Header Left Position - Split 50/50

Is it possible to split Header Left to be 50/50 if more than one module is published in that position?

I'm not seeing the typical gavern layout control in the template admin so I can't figure out how to or if it's possible to create columns in Header-Left position instead of stacking modules on top of each other.
