usermenu showing when you click on logout button

when I clcik on my logout or my account button on the top my user menu is also showing when the popup windows shows.. Can you tell me how can I fix this? Also when trying to install the Quickstart for J3.3 it doesn't go beyond the database info part. It justs stops when it gets to the demo.

I had to do a number of things to install this template and I would like to know why Gavick templates is not install on my system...

But first can you zero in on the logout problem I am having...
