Cant Log In

Hi,

After installing quickstart I cant log in to the site ( Front-end and administrative) with administrator, it says " Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet. ". Username and password is correct for sure... I reinstalled a template,deleted browser cookies, but no changes...

This happened to me to. I thought I was going crazy. I got it on try 3. I didn't use "admin" as the username the time it worked.

Quick tip- Best bet to quick re-install quickstart (so you can set up new username and pw for super user) is to delete the config.php in the root and re-upload the installation folder to the root. It'll get you up and going again with the quickstart in 2 minutes.

I believe there must be some conflict with the "admin" username.

I've updated the quickstart - our developer forgot to rename the admin account to gkadmin - that's why the "admin" username won't work - Joomla detects two users with the same username.

By the way - using the "admin" as username is very bad idea due security reasons
