Utiliziting the Header_BG Module Position

I want to use the Custom HTML module instead of Image Show GK4. What CSS adjustments (or module style) should I place to make the Header_BG module position responsive even if I won't use the image show module.

Actually it would be better if you would post such module that doesn't work well, then share an url and I'll be able to check what (if) is needed.

For University's header_bg module position, I want to use the (Gavick) Metro Grid module or Custom HTML (part of Joomla core). Is there a module suffix or override that I should do to make sure metro grid and/or custom html won't break the page?

They should not break page. If you use custom html module you only need to take care of all opening and closing tags (all opened tags needs to be closed - it must be a valid html markup)
