Calendar future events

On the demo page there is a calendar shown on the right side of the event page. This calendar nicely shows the 'current day' and the 'past events'. Is there also a way to see the 'future events' in this calendar?

this module can show any K2 items, and you can in settings change few things.
So you can show incoming events, past, or even use sort by title.

In the K2 tools i can only set the category of what items he needs to show. I cannot see anywhere past/current/future. Is there a manual somewhere. sorry for being such a newby

K2 tools , upss this is limited module.
But you can use others modules which support K2, for example GK NSP or News Show SP2. But default appearance might be little big different without CSS customization.
