Icons in gk short menu & scroll effect

Well,
after studying the university template better I made the decision to use university for our project hochzeitsautosmieten.de

But I would like to install 2 features which looked fine in steakhouse before:

1. gk-short menu icons
and
2. the scroll down effect

Can someone give me a hint how to use those two features in university template?

1. Could you please be more specific?
2. Are you referring to smooth animation when menu item or header image menu item is clicked?
