Can´t change the frontpage in University

Hi. Whenever I assign any menu item as default so it can be the frontpage of the site, that page loses all styles and looks all messed up. I can use only the default fronpage for the site. How can I assign any other page to the frontpage and do not lose the university style?

By using custom html module instead of standard page. Just copy html code from your desired page to custom html module and place it on homepage instead of current one (in mainbody position).

It might not be possible directly, but you could use NewsShowPro module to show latest news.
