Problems with home page

Hi. I installed the university template, quick start, worked fine. But then when populating the site with the old site information i found a problem with the front page. It just loads a white background, no modle positions page. When I clic on the homepage item, moules come back, but when I just open the site it doesn´t work. This hapens with any item i set as default in the menu.

I´ll appreciate some lights here. Thank you in advance!

Hi! I found a way to work around. But can´t make the latest events module look like in the demo. I´m not publishing there events but latest posts in K2. How can I make it show the dates like in the module? maybe other infos?
