Hi

I've created a dev site in a sub-folder of my production site. I've uploaded and installed the University template, However - no styles appear to be applied to the site. I understand that it is probably something that I've missed. Do you have time to offer any advice as to what I'm missing? This seems t be the case for any Gavick templates I try to apply. Basic Joomla templates display fine.

I've also installed the .json configuration file.

Thanks in advance

Have no idea what you did, but it looks like Joomla have stripped entire head element - it is empty no scripts, no title tags, no css.

All I did was install the University template. That's it. If I switch back to the MSocial template or other joomla template (except gavick) - it works fine. This is the same on the live site as well.

It should be a simple matter of installing the template, right?

Could you please try to remove the template and upload it again? Previous installation was MSocial from a quickstart?

Unfortunately, no.

I've had to abandon plans to use the University template. Apart from the formatting issues, the Jomsocial theme is incompatible with the latest version of Jomsocial.

Opted instead to use the Gavern template as it's pretty basic and gives me an almost blank canvas to work with regarding styling etc.

Thank you so much for your help - much appreciated.

Also - I have downloaded MSocial quickstart and installed University theme into it - and beside some part of needed configuration - all works great.

No probs - thanks for letting me know. I guess things happen for a reason - the Meet Gavern template is really great for creating a custom template. all looking great.

Thanks so much, once again for keeping in touch!
