remove index.php

Hello,

I am using the University template with K2 and i cannot seem to get rid of the index.php in the url's.

I did change the htaccess file and renamed it. After that, no menu link worked anymore..

Please help.

Hello,

Did you enabled the URL rewrite in the settings after renaming the htaccess file? Your hosting supports mod_rewrite?

I only have this problem with two gavick templates in combination with k2
