Hello,
I'd like comments to have the kind of facebook integration that will let comments appear on the Facebook wall of the commentor.
Can the default comment platform do that or will i have to install a new plugin? Also will a new comments plugin conflict with any theme functionality? thank you.

It's not possible by default. You have to use 3rd party plugin, generally it shouldn't be any conflict with theme functionalities, but can't guarantee that.
