Error 1146

Hi,

I installed Storefront for Virtuemart and installed the Demofiles also. Got the error 1146 after checkout and I saw that the issue should be somewhere in the language file, right?
I am working with JMS Multisites and got it running. But with the new installation I cannot solve the issue.
I uninstalled the template and reinstalled - no chance.
Guess the Demofiles are still stuck somewhere and cause the issue.
How can I delete the demofiles completely and reset the template to give the language issue no chance to work?

Hi

Demo is provided in english, so if You have selected different language during installation You will have this error. Here a full article about this: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... quickstart

Hi,

I installed it the second time and I haven't installed the demo files. All settings are set to German. Can I give you backend access and you can check?

...and the language is set to German defaultwise from our server provider. So from my side everything is good, but it's still not working.

Hi

The instruction I've send You before clearly states that our demo is provided with English (United Kingdom) version only, and that's the language You need to select in first joomla installation screen to install it. So please install it again and after site being installed properly start adding new languages.

Hi,

The instruction you sent says, I shall install MY language and not English (your text: "Please select your language at the beginning of the quickstart installation process").
Anyway: I switched to English and after I re-installed Virtuemart I only installed the gk_storefront_J!3-files. I did not install the quickstart files, only the basic files and there still is the error.

I need urgent support to get this error off as I'm close to my launch date!

Background information: We are working with JMS multisites. So the virtuemart files and the storefront files are installed on a master site and then link to the multisite.

Hi

If You haven't uses quickstart than I do not believe it's related with our template. What is the full error message? Error 1146 is for missing tables in database. I know there can be a problem with VM not making such tables if different language was installed, but it can be caused by other extensions as well. Please send me an access to joomla panel.

Really strange. I reinstalled it couple of times and now it seems all to work.

Hi

That's because some of the modules only creates tables which are needed, so for example when You add a language later, tables for this language will not exists, but when You will reinstall, extensions will check which languages are used and will create tables for it.
