Thank You very much for reply. Unfortunately it does not contain answer to my issues. I have checked PHP settings and everything seems more than ok:

PHP 5.6
memory_limit 120M
max_execution_time 50000

Do You have any other ideas what might cause the problem?

Thank You
Tim

Hi

Now when You've mentioned it I think PHP 5.6 may be a problem here. This template were created when there were no version 5.6 yet, so new methods included in newest version may not be compatible. Please try lower the version to 5.5.x .

Hi

Thank You for reply. I tried different versions of PHP 5.6., 5.5, 5.4 - all fails the same.
I have also second server on webserwer.pl - here error was different - installation went thru but still fails to display template corectly (I am not sure what is php or database version here):
http://pradlak.webserwer.pl/digibazar2/
My main server is 1and1 - I host there few Joomla websites made by gavic and it always was ok. Just with this one I have so big issues (php 5.6/or lower and MySql version 5.5 - this I cannot change).

I have no more ideas what to do except of chaning the template provider - and it is pitty because I was with gavick for many years.

Thank You
Tim .

Table 'pradlak_digibaza.ue5u8_virtuemart_categories_en_gb' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT DISTINCT c.virtuemart_category_id AS CID FROM ue5u8_virtuemart_product_categories AS cx LEFT JOIN ue5u8_virtuemart_categories_en_gb AS c ON cx.virtuemart_category_id = c.virtuemart_category_id LEFT JOIN ue5u8_virtuemart_products_en_gb AS content ON cx.virtuemart_product_id = content.virtuemart_product_id LEFT JOIN ue5u8_virtuemart_categories AS cat ON c.virtuemart_category_id = cat.virtuemart_category_id WHERE ( c.virtuemart_category_id = 9 OR c.virtuemart_category_id = 14 OR c.virtuemart_category_id = 12 )

The error says it clearly. You have not selected English (United Kingdom) during installation, so tables for demo content weren't created. https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... quickstart

Hi
Thank You for replying. This message was for Joomla 2.5. I tried again with 3.X and language en_gb and it still fails as at the beggining.
After few weeks I gave up and decided to buy another template:
http://themeforest.net/item/all-in-one- ... te/8002016

And this is how gavick loses customers.

Thank You

Hi

Ok. I can't change that, but if possible, can You please send me an access to Your FTP so I'll install our template and see ? I'm being asked to install same template 2 times a day and have never came across such issue. So I believe it must be server related or caused by a specific server configuration. I would like to test it to avoid it next time.

Hi

Do You have a cPanel with an option of file management ? It's taking ages to upload files via FTP since connection time to server is limited I think because I'm being disconnected often. Can You please send it to me if possible ?

Hi

I tried but even with my dev tools I'm not able to spot what the issue can be. My best guess is that You have php 5.6 installed and since quickstart was created in older php version than some of strict standards messages was most probably displayed while database installation preventing completion of this process. Try lower PHP version to 5.5 and try install it again. You may also try to disable showing errors in php.ini

Other guess may be too low script execution time limit set in php.ini, try changing it to 120s or more just to test if this can be a cause of the problem.

Thank You for trying.

I have tried with lower PHP version - it did not work. Also
memory_limit 120M
max_execution_time 50000
so I guess this is not the issue.

Thank You

Hi

Just had some time to make some additional tests. I've installed quickstart on my computer and than moved it to Your site. Everything works ok. Looks like problem was only during database unpack, so I'm guessing showing errors were not disabled in php.ini file. http://s339467542.domenastandartowa.pl/ ... /index.php

Interesting - thank You. Next time if I have this issue I will try this method.
My PHP settings were:
display_errors - on
error_reporting - 22517
html_errors - on
log_errors- off

Thank You again

Hi

Yes. While installing I've noticed that errors reporting was set to Yes with a message, that joomla prefers this option be set to No. This makes me think that during database installation there were some errors displayed which has stopped installation process. Unfortunately this is fragile enough, that even a minor warning may break it.
