Image Show - image dimensions

Hello
Bought Storefront template & installed successfully (not QS as client is upgrading to J3.4.5 and VM 3.0.12).
Also installed Image Show GK4 and got it working.
Issues I am facing:
1) I want to use a smaller sized image (1280px by 300px) but somehow it reverts to the bigger demo default - some css controlling either the module or the position "header". Where and how to change?

2) My client is thinking of just using a image static image at "header position. Tried it and the responsive nature of that position & menu positions are gone - looks strange on mobile. How can this corrected?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The client decides to use the defaults in the QuickStart so we did a clean QS installation.

We added two of our slide (using the demo slides as examples).

Now the images are NOT showing but the text are.

Please assist.

Thanks.

You can login to have a look. Details in PM.

Hello
Thanks for the reply.
Images were uploaded within the module itself .... but seems not to be populated to the right folder. Now FTPed to that folder, images are now showing.

Uploaded images with dimensions 2219px x 699px and 1223px x 385px (denoted by "a" in filename) - both no impact when shown - still overrun .... unlike the demo site.

Which size should be used?

Thanks.

From what I see you are testing another solution but it also doesn't display full width, probably because it's width is hardcoded into page source.

If you want responsive image and if in different resolution your image goes right, please edit you gk.stuff.css
line 669. Add
Code: Select all
background-position: center;

images be centeren for any resolution.
