payment problem - storefront 3.19 / VM 3.0.10 / Vm 3.0.12

Hi gavick ... curious issue. 2 standard payments and paypal unpublished in the list. when I´m in the cart and click on buy without a payment selected, it re-directs me to paypal (which is unpublished). I delete the unpbulished paypal payment option completely. back in the cart, no payment selected, click on buy, the order confirmation page shows up as confirmed (but with no details). in the backend, the order shows up, I open it, it tells me it cannot find payment id #.

So, why is the order going through without payment selected ? shouldn´t there be a notification "please select payment" ?

storefront 3.19 / VM 3.0.10 and now updated to Vm 3.0.12 (happens in both)

Please check if the same problem exists when You switch Your website to use a standard joomla template. I think this is not connected to our products at all. This test will show if I'm right.
