Hi

To use Hikashop simply change source in all NSP modules to Hikashop. Also change cart module to Hikashop. When You will change everything the issue will be gone as well.

Thanks for the help, I did change everything as you suggest, still got the same error.

I have PM you the admin site access, please check my settings if you can find any wrong setup as I still cannot make the site just like the demo site.. I will start editing from there to save time on setting things up.

If I understand it correctly, quickstart should have the same result on demo site once installed (excluding the images since it will be replaced by a placeholders), but on this case unfortunately not.

I think it's faster to replicate the demo if we have Akeeba Kickstart .jpa files restored on our server.

I am willing to create a tutorial about that if it help this community, I know normal joomla users can easily figure out how to use it too :)

I hope this can be resolve in due time.

Hi

Quickstart is an exact copy of demo. The only problem is that You need to select English (United Kingdom) language during installation. VM demo content is created in this language and without selecting it VM will not create tables for it.

It has been discussed many, many times and there is an article in documentation to it: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... quickstart

@novalj27 I've just unpublished all NSP modules which are not configured properly. They are not correct for reasons like:

- still using Virtuemart as source
- using a module style which is not supporting Hikashop
- as a source hikashop products are selected but no IDs of products given

Plese check it.

This info is the best! I tested it in new subdomain and all works as describe. This will be helpful to all starters if it's inside in all of the readme in quickstart files.. it maybe listed in the support forum and it's my bad I have not read it, since I go directly on the quickstart file.

Thanks a lot teitbite for the help. It looks good now.

I just wonder, based on the demo templates design of Storefront, I guess better to use VM over Hikashop since it's almost widely use on the Menus and NSP Modules, is it OK to disable all Hikashop related features now like the modules/plugins/component?

Hi

You are right. VM is used on most occasions in this template's demo, so it's easier to make a website with VM instead of Hikashop. Or put it in other words: it require some time to make it work with hikashop.

Yes You can just start over and disable all Hikashop so it will not affect functionality.
