custom position - search - hikashop

Hi,

I installed:

1. Latest Joomla
2. The storefront Joomla Template
3. Hikashop Business, Multi Vendor

Would like to use the custom position for search but its not coming up when I try to input?
The custom position for hikashop cart do come up.

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website and back-end access via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

I have the same problem.
The custom position for " search" is not showing.
Actually I can not even select the position "search", because it does not exist.
I looked up the templateDetails.xml and could not find the cutom position "seach" in it.

Can you please help.

Hi

Only predefined positions are showing. To use a custom one You simply need to type "search" in the field next to selection dropbox and hit enter.
