Side menu

Hi Gavick team
is it possibel to change side menu to "active" one?
So there will be visible only main categories and submenu will be visible only after click or mouse over main category?
Or can I use menu form some other your teplate?
I do not want to put any 3rd party component there.

Hi,
I guess you want to "move" main menu (from top) into left.
In theory it's possible but as always request template code customization.

About menus in general - GK didn't developed any menu module yet.
So Yes, I guess you have to use additional module, for example with Mega Menu feature.

hmm - not really
I still want to have main menu at the top. Only at e-shop I am using sidebar for product category in HikaShop
Actually I have 5 main categories and a lot of subcategories - what make site not very transparent. So I want to have at the sidbar menu, which will be like "dropdown" - content of main category will "rollout" afte click at main category.
Is it more clear now? (sorry for my english)

Now I see...
you have to use Accordion Menu Module, which allows you to have nice effect for sidebar menu.
I saw at least few nice looking modules on JED.
