News Show Pro GK5 v1.8.3: Can't show "&" letter

I use virtuemart 3.0.8 and have some products with a "&" in product name. In category and product detail view it is shown correctly. Only tab-browsing feature on mainpage shows & instead & (in Gavick demo: the "new - featured" area). How to solve this?
