Variant drop down menu on VM 3.0.9.4

Hello,

Choosing products variant, colour or size, for the second or any other time than first, does change the name (and layout in firefox) of the variant, but it actually does not load the chosen variant (colour) and therefore it is not added to the cart. Instead, if you hit the add to cart button, the first chosen variant is added in the cart.

Check with default template and is working fine.

Please rename folder /html/com_virtuemart/productdetails to /html/com_virtuemart/_productdetails and check if this works than.

Programmers found out that problem is only when You click add to cart too fast, before the new information will get refreshed, so it's not connected with our template and they will not be able to fix it. You need to report this to VM support.

Hi.

But the issue is not with the add to cart button.
If you choose a variant from the drop down menu and then you decide that you don't want that variant but another one, and you choose another variant from the drop down menu, you will see that your second choice doesn't load.

You might see that the drop down menu change the name, but this is fault since the product page doesn't load. Product name or image, if there is an image for every product, are still from the first choice you have done.

It doesn't matter if you click the add to cart button slow or fast, since the variant product its not loaded. When you click the add to cart button it just add the first one you have selected.

As I have said, I have use the default vm template on that page and the variant works like it supposed to. You can change your variant at any time and the new product will load. Then you click the add to cart button and you are adding the variant you have choose.

Can you check it again please?

I've asked programmers to take a second look, but I've never see this not changing at all. It does everytime, just horribly slow in some cases.

Programmers has switch to beez5 default joomla template and the speed of updating selection is exactly the same as with our template. This means that problem is coming from VM itself. You need to write directly to VM support for a solution to this problem, our template is not affecting this in any way.
