StoreFront required password reset page problem

Hello,

I am have a problem with the required password reset page. It loads twice on on top of the other (see image below). The page will load and then about 3 seconds later the second page will load as if it were in a frame. I have no frames on the page, disabled breadcrumbs, rebuilt all my menus and categories, cleared the cache in Joomla and in my browser, purged expired cache in joomla, disabled all modules on the page, Search Engine Friendly URLs both on and off and tried on multiple monitors and computers. All other pages are ok as far as I have tested.
Page address format - myip/index.php/mio-account/profile?layout=edit
Joomla is 3.4.1
Storefront/Gavern is 3.17
Virtuemart is 3.0.8
All other plugins are up to date
PHP 5.4.41 (and also tested 5.3.29)
MySql 5.1.73-community

Hi

Looks like some plugin fault. Please tell me the exact url to the page with this problem. I will check the code to tell more about this problem.

The admin site and another template works perfectly. The Storefront template is broken in some way. I have changed the template to the Beez template and it works. I check the IIS logs and it really does not say anything. It seems to have broke after the techs accessed the template, It could be just a coincidence. Please take a look now and you will see the Beez template does not give the error. Feel free to enter the admin site and enable the StoreFront template to verify. I can reinstall the template if needed. Thanks for your help.

Ok. The access You send me doesn't have Super User privilages, so we cannot check anything. Please extend it and let me know when this will be done.

Try it now, It does have superuser access but the password needed to be changed. Originally I gave you an account that needed the password changed so you could see the original error. I have made it so you do not have to change the password and I have tested that it works. the password and login are the same as I pm'd you.

I don't have Apache or centos. I am on a window IIs/plesk, I just checked the server and it is running well, just the broken gavick template. I will resend all the data to you.

Post above was for @Perkovič. But site is working fine now. Must be some temporary problem.

From the other hand when we try access Your site than nothing is showing at all :). Just a message Server cannot be reach. But we have an access to site with this problem already, so it will not be necessary.

I have send the access to this site just now, so will inform when I'll have an answer.

I reinstalled the template, I had no choice. After reinstalling the template the website works again after it was broke. There is no more server error. The original problem still exists. I was supposed to have this site online this past Monday. I am now 4 days over due. I was able to extend my deadline until This coming Monday. I have to proceed and make this site live. On Monday it has to be operational. If I have to I will wait for an official temple update that resolves the original problem. If The Gavick technicians are unable to resolve this problem in the next 2-3 days please do not touch the website. I can not wait anymore. It has been 18 days since my first post.

I would like to say that before this error, I have never had a problem with the Gavick Templates. They have always worked perfectly. I really hope we can resolve this problem soon.

An access to the site I got yesterday from @Perkovič doesn't have this problem :( Why is it so hard to even see this issue ? Screen attached.

Right now when using link to @daveealex's site /index.php/mio-account/profile?layout=edit there is no such page at all.


Guys please. I see this thread is cursed. Please help me here and do not make changes to this for a short time and take all the info back together. I mean an url to page with problem, joomla panel access and ftp access.



PS: Does anyone of You have Admin Tools installed ? Try disable it and see if problem remains.

Hi,

I have created new user and marked that the password has to be changed. Now when you connect with this login details the error appeara. in few seconds the page will double on itself and there is nothing you can do after that.

I will PM the login details.

I do not have admin Tools installed and I tried everything I know and I cannot find the solution. But I a not an expert really, just a user :)

I have done the same. I will pm you with the details of a user and a new link. After my site was broke i have not been able to make the urls friendly. As I stated in other posts this has been a problem since 03 June 2015 (16 days total) . You can not expect website not to have changes. If the problem would have been resolved in a timely fashion than we would not be having this post or this problem about the links. This error does not just affect me it also affects my client and there clients. Sorry to be to the point but I am on a time frame.

When you get to my site you will have to click on accedi in the upper left to log in. The site is in Italian.

Hi

Add this to override.css and make sure override is enabled in template settings:

Code: Select all
#gkCart #gkCartCounter { display: none; }


this will not fix the problem, but will hide it so site will be usable.

Now I'm sending Your accesses to programmers for a more permanent fix.

Hi

Programmers has also confirmed they cannot login. They have a "The server closed the connection." message.

Please I believe it's something simple, but till now we have not been able to look at this problem at all.
