Image Zoom Stops Working After Selecting Variants

Joomla v3.4.1, Storefront template v3.16

The auto image zoom that pops up when hovering over a product image works fine until I use multi-variants to dynamically change product SKUs and prices. I'm currently using the Stockable Custom Fields plugin to create the variants as the VM way of doing it is horrible.

The developer of the Stockable Custom Fields plugin had this response:

Actually the template needs to trigger some function after the ajax call.
If they are not triggered, you can ask them which are these and how to do it.
A good way is into the Virtuemart.upateContent function which handles the ajax updates both for the multi-variants and our plug-in.

Also, the links for "Recommend to a Friend" and "Ask a Question" no longer pop up in a lightbox after using custom field selectors. They work as expected before selecting options.

Please upgrade the template to the latest version - this issue was fixed after v.3.16 release (current version is 3.17).

I just updated the template to the latest version (3.17). That did not resolve the issues stated in my original post. Here is a product URL so you can see what's happening:

To see the issue, select the options for Rack Load Direction and Pan Capacity. Once the Product Name/Price update, the image magic zoom no longer works. Neither do the lightbox effects for "Ask a Question" and "Recommend to a Friend" links.

Your problem should be fixed now - I've improved the VM product details script - we will include this fix in the nearest update.

The image zoom now works properly after choosing product options - thanks for getting that working. However, the other javascript dependent functions for the "Recommend to a Friend" and "Ask a question about this product" links still do not work after choosing product options. They are supposed to open in a light-box fashion. They do that BEFORE choosing options, but after selecting options, those links will navigate to a new page instead of opening a light-box.

Problem should be fixed now.
