zoom image aspect ratio

Hi I am using Hilkashop with the storefront template
my images display fine until you zoom them on the product page. where the image ratio is stretched horizontally
can you tell me where is the code controlling the image zoom for hilkashop product pages is please.

the zoom on category listings showing items is fine. I have tried the hilka config keep ratio, and crop. no effect
so I assume your template is controlling it. any help of where to look to sort it, is welcome thx.
