TCPDF library not installed.

Sirs,

I have done the quick install of store front. Now when I go into virtuemart I get the following error message:
Warning

TCPDF library not installed. Please download at http://virtuemart.net/download

I click on the link and there is no tcpdf file. Can you shed some light on this?

Here is a fresh install, I go to configuration and then is what I see.

Have You tried to install this missing library ? An install package can be found here: http://extensions.joomla.org/profile/ex ... df-library

Have anyone figured out the fix for this error? I am experiencing the same error. What is a TCPDF library and do I really need it? I clicked on the link and it takes me to the download page for virtuemart. I'm running the latest version of VM and Joomla I can not find any forums that discusses this issue. Please help, so I can eradicate this error.

Hi

TCPDF library is used to create invoiced and orders in pdf format. I've attached an url to joomla plugin adding this. I hope it will help, but in this case a help from VM support may be needed.

Hello,

The link you posted above is only for Joomla 2.5 and I have Joomla 3x, so I don't want to install something that's not compatible. This may lead to crashing my site. Is there another updated link for Joomla 3x and do I really need to install the library?

Thanks, I will try this one. Also, from the question above, is this really needed(must have) for VM or something just added that's unnecessary?

Hi

As You can see VM throws an error if this is not installed, so I'm guessing it's neccessary after all. But since it's only needed to send an invoice in pdf format maybe disabling sending invoices will work as well.
