Suffix for Page Header Titles

Hi there, I was wondering if there is anyway of adding suffix or something to the menu header titles to make the page H1 title create a span or a div? Because I was wanting to use the H1 as a background and modify the actual title separately. This is because I want the page title header background at 100% width of the entire screen but the text in line with other components. (I have modified the template).

I know you can add suffix's to the modules but not sure if you can do it to menu item titles (or the page heading override in the menu item settings).

Thanks.

You can use suffixes for pages feature in template settings > features.

See following documentation: Template Elements Overrides > Suffixes for pages.
https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... -features/

itemID/Option: enter menu id ( see your menu id from main menu ( end of each menu item ) or menu you are using )
Suffix: Name your suffix which you need to add it to your .css file.

From above documentation you can see an example 640 which home menu item and suffix has been named "frontpage".

Hi Norman, thanks for the reply but you misunderstand what I am asking. I know how to do what you mentioned already.

What I am wanting to do is to add a tag inside (or directly outside) the H1 header title. Adding a suffix to a particular page that you mentioned doesnt solve that problem.

The only way I can do it at the moment is to turn off the Header H1 titles in the menu options and add the header in the actual content, which I would prefer not to do.

Thanks.

I am sorry because you have already modified the template files I've assumed you need help with page suffix. So if you have already modified template files then that should work. If you want a solution without modifying template files then you can use JavaScript or jQuery to replace and / or recreate the titles section but then again this is really unnecessary.

Perhaps post a sample html code of what you have now and the final result so I can make better suggestions.
