text seperator menu

Hello,

We have tried to set up a text separator menu, similar to the one called 'men' in the Storefront Menu.

We have set up the the 3 separators - so far so good. The problem is when we try to set up a menu link to sit underneath one of the separators - rather than showing as a link under the separator, the link can't be seen until we roll over the separator link - at which point it pops out.

Any suggestions as to what we might be doing wrong.
