Edit button without print button

Hi,
is it possible to show the edit button in frontent without print button? If I create a language override, the "," in front of the edit button is still there. The next problem is, that when I logged out from frontend, the bigger space between headline and content is still there.
I'd looked in the default.php on line 172, but I can't fix it myself

only small customization in php file required, or ....
you will override language Print phrase with "space" I mean no label.

unfortunately not, because overriding with a space does not eliminate the comma. And when the admin is logged out, the big distance between header and content text is always big, because the overrided print button stay alway here.
Is it possible to change in PHP, that the edit button is independend from the print button?
