How to add built in "effects" on image articles?

I would like to know if there are any class settings one can use in order to get an image article to look more nice. For instance a shadwo effect when hovering hover, round corners, etc.

Is there any ready built in features in the framework that one can use?

1) if you didn't saw any on demo it means there not.
2) Second, it's quite easy to add such a effects - but it depends where in modules, K2 items or for article images?
All you have to know is basic of CSS3
and know where to use :hover

So if you will add image on your K2 items from Image tab you should see similar

this is in-build effect for images inside .itemImageBlock img
like K2 items.

But unfortunately, by default, does not work with normal articles
so if you need this it request customization.
