Using Custom Fields

Can someone explain to me how to use the custom fields feature in the template? I noticed in the news show pro widget there is an option in the article layout >> show info block section a box to display certain info for the article. There are two parameters labeled "price, and reviews" of which I would like to show, but I do not see where to set the parameters in the post. Is this somehow connected with the custom fields setting in the template configuration section? How do I set and get this information to show?

Custom Fields are not connected with the {PRICE} or any other elements from News Show Pro widget. Custom Fields are wordpress feature: http://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Fields

Generally, this option from advanced theme settings should be used to hide or change labels of Custom Post Fields:
