Image in header widget

Hi!

I recently downloaded the theme (love it!) and I am starting to tweak the design/layout a little bit. I am a newbie when it comes to wordpress (and creating websites in general) and I have two questions that I hope you can help out with:

Image in the header widget: How do I add my own image (to clarify: in the demo "johns" face is used, I want to use another one) and what size is that image (px)?

Logo what file type (png/jpg/svg etc) should I use and what size do you recommend? I have a png that I uploaded but it was to small. So I basically doubled the size in the theme options but the size of the logo didn't change. What do you think I did wrong?

Hello,

You can change path to your image in the header area text widget, or replace original image: wp-content/themes/John/images/demo/header/header1.jpg (original dimensions: 1400 x 822 px)

You can use svg or png logo image, did you change your logo settings to Image Logo and set width and height?

Map you can change also in text widget - Bottom V widget area, this code is responsible for path to the image:

Hi,

thank you - the map and image replies solved it.

As for the logo, yes I changed the the logo settings to image logo and changed dimensions in the theme options panel to make it bigger, but it is still only showing a tiny logo (and the original file is larger than those dimensions).
