Hi Guys

1) In NSP GK5 when I make changes in K2 articles , categories etc. my changes only take effect the next day ?
I have seen in the forums others with the same problem and you guys advised changing " Time Offset " settings , I have done this physically with every option possible yet I still cannot see my changes taking effect .

2) I have edited and uploaded the logo.png and the logo_dark.png files yet I also cannot see these changes taking effect ?
What I have noticed now is that my new logo displays for a few seconds and then it goes back to the default Template Logo ?

Please assist
Muhammad

Hi

"Time offset" is needed only if newly created article does not appear imminently. Your problem looks more of a cache in work. Please disable all cache extensions and joomla cache to see if they are causing it. If not than I would check if there is no cache or cloud caching in Your server.

It is happening straight after I have installed a quickstart package so no cache extensions installed and there is definitely no cache or cloud caching on my server .

Hi

There has to be some database cache on server. Joomla is not caching database the way that it would not show changes to articles and template doesn't even deal with that part. The K2 issue I know only happens with new article, so it could not be the case if You experience it after modification. What You described sounds a lot like JotCache joomla extension (it created a simple HTML from every page and recreates every couple of hours), but we are not installing that in our packages. Cloud cache. Site is kept in cloud and only refreshes content like 1-2 per day.

If You wish to test if it's not becuase of template simply switch to default joomla template.
