Captcha problems

decided to use captcha on the contactform to reduce spam. I think I have done everything correctly but the recaptcha doesnt show?

What steps did you do till now?

I have enable the plugin. In global configuration I have set captcha re-captcha as default.
I have entered the secret key and site key whicht I obtained from google.com/recaptcha.
is there more to do?

Yes, you need to:
1. Set ReCaptcha as default Captcha in Global Configuration - Site tab;
2. Set Recaptcha to be allowed on Contact in Contact Manager Options (button available on right when you go to Components -> Contacts -> Contacts) on Form tab.

nope, I still don´t get it to work.

Last thing is a tip from javascript error console:
Uncaught Error: Missing required parameters in RecaptchaOptions: sitekey

Is your Joomla installation updated?

yes, joomla is up to date.
"You already have the latest Joomla version, 3.4.4."

I did all the steps again. I had missed the plugin "System - GK Contact". Also in there one must apply the key from google.

hmmm. I don´t know how many hours I spend googling this issue. Now when captcha is showing it says.
"Invalid reCAPTCHA code"
Soon I give up...
