Link to document in module (custom html)

I am trying to add a link to a document into an empty custom html module.
I was hoping that I could use JCE File Plugin, but I can't install it for some reason (I'm working with Joomla 3.3.4).
Linking to the document (uploaded in the media center) by adding the right URL doesn't work either. It's probably not difficult, but I seem to be too ignorant to enter the correct URL.
Is there another way? What am I doing wrong? Any other idea on how it can be done?
My site is currently on http://www.marie-perles.com, the section concerned is the module called "downloads".

Becuase you have to install from under JCE installer , and not from Joomla Installer.
So try again.

No problem, first time (years ago) I had similar problem so I fully understand your confusion.
But please next time check JCE documentation page, heheh. There should be info about usage tips.
JCE can helpful in many ways. If this must be website for somebody else - just remove all those icons from toolbar which target user will not use, less buttons - means less question for you
