Hello,
I'm currently working with these 2 templates, and I would like to know if it could be possible to integrate the map system of Steakhouse frontpage into John frontpage ? And if yes, how can I do that ? (This location map is really great!)

Thanks in advance,

Sandra

Hi Sandra,

yes, you can do it. You need the script code for the map out of the Steakhouse (see /templates/gk_steakhouse/js/gk.script.js). Copy the map code to your template.

You will also need some css code that can be find in /templates/gk_steakhouse/css/gk.stuff.css

Tweak the code for your needs.

You can see how it will look like on:

Hi Banana7777,

Even I want to do the same.

Can you mention the line numbers for each of the two things required (map and CSS)?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

in the gk.stuff.css you will find the code from line 968 to 1136 depending on what you need.

In the gk.script.js it is line 7 to 105.

Hi Dirk,

Thanks for your replies.

I followed your advices but it seems that the lines added to the js file are not executed (for example my div class="gk-map" is still 'empty' so no map is displayed on the background)
There's something I'm missing or a conflict somewhere, but I don't know what is my issue (and my website is on production on a localhost)...

Thanks

Hi Sandra,

very difficult to guess what is missing. Have you added "map" to the Module Class Suffix?

Bring your page online and I can have a look at it.

Hi Sandra,

sorry, this is my fault. There is more script needed. Look at gk.script.js line 153 to 234. Without the code the map will not show up.

Hi Dirk!

Thanks for your help and time. I'll look at that and get back to you when it's "online" if I still have issues.

Thank you!

Hi Team
I updated my "events" template with map, but I am still strugling with some issue with displaying map at full screen - it is still show only in defined module position.
Look at: http://84.16.38.169:85/awunew/
do you have some ideas?

Thank you
