Adding a category to my hot works

I have tried adding a category in the k2 section by creating a copy and changing the title. I have also tried creating my own from scratch. Nothing seems to be adding to the menu under my hot works? Not sure if it is a bug or I am doing something wrong.

you have to change the Data Source of the module.

Yes, that's a correct answer. I'm afraid this module style only works with K2 source for now.

Hi, I have been able to change the name of the original K2 Categories that display in "Hot Works", and they display fine. However, I've added a few new Categories by copying the originals, and selecting them in the module "Data Source", but they just don't show up on the front page? The Category title doesn't display in the menu either. I must be missing something simple? Is there a limit to the number of Categories that can be displayed in this module?

The row is missing because there is a Category with ( 3 ) images that are not displaying. ( screen shot attached )

Hi

There are no limits to number of categories. I believe if You will add too many than database would not processed them, but it would reset server or throw an error.
