"Could not start mail function." error when using contact us

Any idea why I might be getting this error? I have php mail function allowed

Hi,
if we talk about default Joomla contact component , please check mail settings in Joomla Global Configuration panel. Try also with SMTP settings. Not all server allow using mail() function by scripts.

is Contact form from Contact Component where Gavick developer override some views , change his appearance.
About you problem just check books about Joomla Email - in global configuration
or official joomla forum, because this is not connected with template itself. Sorry.
