How to remove link from k2 item image

When I open one of the k2 items from "CHECK OUT MY HOT WORKS" i get preview of image, title, category, author and date, and image is linked to the full k2 item with full large image and text. How to remove that link from the image, just to stay on preview.

I have the same problem; did you find the solution to remove that link??

Moreover, when you are looking the website on smartphone, if you open the item from "check out my work", you even don't have the intermediate step with the preview (image, title, category, author and date...) you go directly to the full K2 item with large image and text...
Is it possible to see only the preview?
