Hello,

we will use a second Jon template with different adjustments for colors and anymore. But if we get the john Template
we dont can get any other templates as a second. It dont works with the standart templates too,

Workflow.

Copy Johns and make different adjustments
make a new menu point like test
say the new menupoint the template to get (john2)
build a text over Joomla Article or K2 connect it to the menu

TEst it and see all the adjustments like the standart John Template

We test it too with load a module into the site over "loadposition" the module ist loading but without the template adjustment.

We have build much of Joomla Pages but here we dont no where is the Issue.

Please can you take a look

Hi

I will need a little better explanation. A loadposition is not using a "gk_style" which is a template override for it, so this cannot be a place to make this test. You may try to overwirte it in plugin settings or code.

Was this the only problem or can I get a little more informations about the problem.

Hello,

no, what we will do is over a simple link open a Joomla or K2 Article Page and this page must have a second template adjustment.
example: Backgrond color black but the parameter of the second template are not visible.

We test ist we beez as a master template, here it works fine.

Hi

I'm sorry, but I still do not understand. I think You are trying to use a different template style on some pages, but informations about selected style are stored in cookies, so You will need to use a page class suffix and add this changes directly to css.

Hi

I think there is a fast way of doung this, by renaming the template and install it as a different one. But except the changing of name You will need to change all occurences of "gk_john_s" name in files:

- /layout/default.php
- /admin/scripts.js
- /templateDetails.xml

This way newly installed template will use a different cookie value and using different style will be possible.
