By uploading a svg file, the systems reponds me:

Notice
Possible IE XSS Attack found.

PS been searching all over the help/tutorials/etc here on the site.

http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... -add-logo/

How can I get the svg file in the system?

Hi,
first don't worry - this is false warring, IE bug.
what software shows you this message "Possible IE XSS Attack found" ?
I saw this same "error" was also in J1.5 - check those :
http://docs.joomla.org/J1.5:Possible_IE_XSS_Attack
and similar topic around Internet, use google.

Dear Pawel,

believe me, i used google to find for solutions.

Actual Joomla Version is 3.2.3.

Allthough the warning might be false - i believe you! - the system however doesn't allow me to upload the svg-file.

Is there a alternate way to get the svg file in my joomla? Or, even more comfortable, a way to delete the warning?

thank you for your reaction.

Sure,
1) First step, upgrade to Joomla 3.3 is fully safe.
By the way since 1 May we have J3.2.4 also, you forgot to check ?

2) You can also upload .svg file using FTP client - easy even for kid.

3) Joomla 3.x have option which allows to choose which extensions are safe to upload.
Give me a second in next answer I will add a screenshot where you will find it.

ok, before you will upgrade to J3.3 (which I suggest to do today or next days) :

Media Manager --> Options --> Legal Extensions (File Types) : ...add here after comma "svg"
+ Save changes.
