Sidebar visible on article page

I configured Cozy Blog module on frontpage. When i click on an article its full 1000px. I don't get the sidebar modules working.

When i go via a different way to an article (on some pages the newest article sidebar works), i get a nice page with article + sidebar.

Thank you for your fast reaction. But this page is talking about Joomla articles/categories. And Gavick always promotes K2 articles/categories..right?

Thats a little unclear for me as well in the demo website. You have all those nice views, but its a mix from K2 articles and Joomla articles. So i'm not sure how to set this up in a real website. How to maintain two different article types. Any suggestions?

Styles are prepared for regular joomla articles and K2 items. You do not have to use both this solutions at the same time. Just pick one so it will be easier to manage.

The article I've attached is showing a principle which works with almost all joomla components. First You need a landing page for article which is a menu item with a category type of the category this article belongs to. This way joomla will open this article under this menu item only and not wherever it was clicked and without landing page.
