Remove Link and show Image in Lightbox

is it possible to remove the article Link from the image in the showcase and open a lightbox by clicking on the image ?

This NSP style has an option to show some basic informations in popup, unfortunately not all. For what You are planing to do I think NSP is not the best choice. Try looking for a module which fits Your needs better: http://extensions.joomla.org/
