Our site host (Siteground) has responded a question I had regarding a timezone mismatch between the application server and database server. The News Show Pro GK5 calendar event box on the homepage is a day behind the event date. When selecting the event, the page which shows event details has a calendar box with the correct date. I find this odd that the same event would show a calendar box pulled from two different sources for the same event. I am probably missing something.

Regardless, SiteGround gave me this link: https://www.siteground.com/kb/how_to_ch ... _timezone/

Thank you.

Also, time offset adjustments had no effect. Any help or insights would be appreciated.

Hi

This is a really hard question. We cannot change mysql queries as Your host requested since it's using K2's code and we are not developers of this extension. I think during item modification component is using server's time instead of databases, so maybe editing after creation just to save modified date instead or direct changing to creation date will work. I know it's not the best option, but if time of server and database cannot be equal than I see no other way.
